TaxRobot is a web application that is designed to simplify transforming scanned tax return (PIT-37) documents into the digital form. It automatically recognizes form fields and reads the hand written text or checkboxes in it. The tool displays the original document and the final form side by side, so the user can easily make corrections. It automatically recognizes the target Tax Office including it’s code, and imports the user’s data from the database. Finally it exports the document to the XML file, ready for further processing.
