Sylwia Migdał works at WWF Poland as a Marine Conservation Specialist. The focus of her work concerns marine litter, especially derelict fishing gear (DFG, ghost nets) and its impact on the marine environment. She has been involved in the MARELITT Baltic project (one of the first international initiatives aiming at finding a systemic solution to DFG problem) as a coordinator of work package regarding DFG search and retrieval operations.
