The Challenge
There is a great deal of information on the internet about the desired behaviour of each of us in different areas of life and work, necessary to counteract, or at least adapt to, the climate change. There are apps prepared by start-ups on healthy eating habits, reducing ecological footprint, counting steps while walking for health, the best means of transportation, solutions for being climate-neutral or positive, the right packaging to replace plastic, waste segregation rules and thousands of others.
The only problem is that most of these applications are completely unknown to users, as they are prepared by start-ups that have not yet obtained funding for development and therefore are not able to widely popularize their solutions. Moreover, the average user is not able to distinguish whether a given app presents proven solutions in accordance with the best scientific knowledge, or whether they are of little value.
Users should be able to use a platform and a search engine that shows only proven, sustainable and climate-oriented options, so that they will not waste time verifying different solutions. Start-ups with their applications can have one place, a platform, where they are visible and where they can get useful user reviews about their products. Thanks to visibility for end consumers, innovative companies will grow and make a real impact on social behaviour in the field of climate protection.
