The Finalist | Polska Chmura Rozwiązań Onkologicznych (PCRO)

Project description:

For a long time, patient tracking has been inherently manual, being one of the most time-consuming activities in overall management. The idea of developing a patient tracking solution is centred around Big Data and as a result, it may provide a smooth healthcare experience to the patients as well as improve management for the Organisation.

Big Data has changed the way we manage, analyse and leverage data in any industry. One of the most promising areas where it can be applied to make a change in is healthcare. Healthcare analytics has the potential to reduce costs of treatment, predict outbreaks of epidemics, avoid preventable diseases and improve the quality of life in general. Average human lifespan is increasing and so is the world’s population, which poses new challenges to today’s treatment delivery methods.

The application of Big Data analytics in healthcare has a lot of positive and also life-saving outcomes. Big Data refers to the vast quantities of information created by the digitisation of everything, which then gets consolidated and analysed by specific technologies. This patient tracking solution will simplify the management of patients for all types of healthcare facilities, and ensure all patients get the healthcare experience they deserve along with improved audit trail control.
